How Do I Get Started?

Requesting a bid

  • The best way to get started on this is to download and copy our online Bid Development Worksheet.

  • Review the worksheet and complete as much of it as you can as thoroughly as you can. It is especially important to be as detailed as possible with regard to graphics, animation, and database features such as forms and shopping carts.
  • Send the worksheet to the e-mail address on the last page of the worksheet. Expect to be contacted within a week to continue to the next step in the process.

The bid process

  • We start by putting together a min/max bid at no charge to you. This bid reflects the minimum and maximum charge for us to build the website you want. The more details you were able to provide when requesting a bid, the smaller the bid range will be. The cost will be no less and no more than the bid so there are no surprises.
  • Next, we follow up with a phone call to fill in any gaps and discuss specific elements of the site.
  • We then put together a detailed bid. The majority of charges are based on an hourly rate, not a flat fee.

Note: We recommend you get one or two other bids to compare with ours. Going through the bid process not only helps you forecast the cost for your website, it provides the opportunity for you to get a feel for who you are comfortable working with.

Creating the Site

  • Once you have decided to use Web noxious as your web development firm, we will work out a contract that clarifies expectations for both parties.
  • Once the contract has been signed, we have our graphics team begin work on the site design. While site design is in progress, you can polish your site content.
  • You will be given three different designs to select from in the beginning. These designs are created using the design input you submitted in the Bid Development Worksheet. Once you select a design, you may have up to three rounds of edits— such as color or typeface changes, repositioning of design items, editing a design element, changing of pictures, etc.—at no charge. Any subsequent (additional) edits will be charged separately.

Although we at Web noxious may never have the privilege of meeting you in person, we are honored that you are considering using our services. Although building or revamping a web site can at times seem like a monumental task, we want you to be excited about it! Use the Web noxious team as your web developing specialists and you will be sure that you are getting a quality product at a fair price.
